Exciting News: District Reign FC Makes a Splash in Youth Development Arena!

District Reign FC, the highly successful DCPL Semi-Pro Team, is diving headfirst into the youth development arena. They have officially launched a structured pyramid developmental system as their "feeder" program, taking their success to the next level!

Matthew Gillich, Founder and Executive Director of District Reign Football Club, expressed his enthusiasm for this new venture. He sees the Youth Premier Soccer League (YPSL) as the perfect platform to nurture young talents and provide them with weekly competitive scenarios. "We are thrilled about the next steps we're taking," he said, brimming with excitement.

Coach Gillich, the mastermind behind the club's daily operations, is a force to be reckoned with. With his United States Soccer Federation USSF 'E' license, Goalkeeper Level One certification, and Director of Coaching certification from United Soccer Coaches, he is committed to ensuring top-notch training sessions and club events.

The YPSL District Reign teams will face off against other impressive DMV teams in the region, adding even more excitement to the mix. Tryouts are currently underway for boys, girls, and coed teams in the 2012-2016 age groups. It's an opportunity for young talents to showcase their skills and be a part of something extraordinary.

Andy Vera, YPSL Director of League Operations, couldn't be happier about District Reign's entry into the YPSL.
